95% violet tungsten oxide nanopowder may be produced by calcining WOx (2≤x≤3) in a closed environment.
WOx to Prepare 95% Violet Tungsten Oxide Nanopowder
Step one: Feed WOx (2≤x≤3) from the feed end into the heated furnace tube with a feeding device, and gradually move it from low temperature zone to high temperature zone by rotating the inclining furnace tube;
Step two: The material continues to move to high temperature zone under the rotation of the inclining furnace tube. When the temperature of material continues to go up to a certain degree, WOx generates violet tungsten oxide WO2.72 under H2 atmosphere.
The preparation method mentioned above is characterized in:
1. NH3 is introduced into the inclining furnace tube through the air inlet and is heated to be decomposed in the furnace tube to generate the reducing gas H2.
2. H2 or a mixed gas of NH3 and H2 is introduced into the inclining furnace tube through the air inlet.
3. Water vapor is also introduced into the inclining furnace tube through the air inlet.
4. The reaction temperature to generate WO2.72 is controlled above 600°C.
5. Ensure that the positive pressure in the furnace tube is 0mbar~5mbar.
