Medium grain size tungsten powder has a series of advantages such as less high-temperature defects, high micro-hardness, and low micro strain. After high-temperature carbonization, YG20C alloy and coarse-grain tungsten carbide powder can be obtained.

Applications
The YG20C alloy with medium-grained tungsten powder can be obtained by high-temperature carbonization. The microstructure and physical properties of the YG20C alloy are similar to those of the YG20C produced by the high-temperature reduction high-temperature carbonization process. The metallurgical structure of the alloy is more uniform, the microstructure is better, and the microscopic defects are less.
Medium grain size tungsten powder can be obtained by high-temperature carbonization of medium-grain tungsten powder, and the powder is single-grained. The FSSS grain size does not decrease significantly after long-time ball milling.

At present, the process for industrial production of medium-grained tungsten powder is mainly the calcination of ammonium paratungstate powder into yellow tungsten or blue tungsten, which is then prepared by reduction in hydrogen. The medium-grained tungsten powder prepared by this method is a very regular polycrystalline shape, and the powder particle size is mostly controlled at 2 to 5μm.
