Nano blue tungsten oxide (BTO), as a type of raw material to prepare ceramic microsphere, has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, high visible light transmittance, high hardness, high thermal insulation, good photochromism, and uniform particle size. Thus, the obtained dingal ceramic particles inherit some of characteristics of BTO such as uniformity, dispersity, stability, good thermal insulation and transmittance of visible light.
It was found that curves of XRD (X-ray diffraction) of blue tungsten oxide obtained by reducing different APT materials at the same temperature were very similar when comparing curves of XRD of blue tungsten oxide powder obtained by reducing different APT materials at different temperatures. It showed that the phase compositions of the obtained blue tungsten oxide were the same as long as the phase structure and phase composition of raw materials (APT) were the same although the preparation process and manufacturer of APT were different.
