Blue tungsten oxide may be applied for manufacturing ceramic microsphere, so that it will have the following advantages:
1. As a near-infrared shielding material, compared with the traditional ATO and ITO, this type of ceramic particles has high transmittance and higher near-infrared shielding rate. It can be used as the heat insulating film of window;
2. Good performance, high thermal stability, good dispersion, not easy to fade;
3. For the production of heat insulation film, haze <0.5%;
4. Does not shield communication electronic signals and has no effect on electronic devices such as mobile phones and GPS navigation devices.
Using ammonium paratungstate (APT) as raw material, blue tungsten oxide was prepared by calcing under H2 atmosphere. The blue tungsten oxide with the following properties can be obtained by calcing at the temperature range of 400-500°C: Oxygen index of 2.96-2.90; Fsss of 11.9-12.0μ; Loose specific weight of 2.49-2.50g/cm3; And average particle size of 28.3~28.5μ.
