Cesium tungsten bronze powder (Cs0.33WO3) is a transparent thermal insulation material that has the performance of absorbing ultraviolet light and near-infrared light in the sunlight. The grain size of the cesium tungsten bronze powder affects the performance of heat insulation material of cesium tungsten bronze. The smaller the grain size of Cs0.33WO3 powder is, the stronger the light selective absorption ability is.
Cs0.33WO3 may be prepared using different methods, such as, solvothermal method, and solid phase method, etc. The solvothermal process may be used to prepare cesium tungsten bronze nanorods with fast photo-thermal conversion, strong light absorption in the wavelength range of 800-1500nm, and excellent shielding performance on heat rays. And the solid phase method was used to prepare Cs0.33WO3 powder using WO3•NH3 and doped metal element (Cs) salts as raw materials. The obtained Cs0.33WO3 has small particle size. And its particle size distribution is in the range of 0.1μm~5.0μm.
