Nano cesium tungsten oxide (Cs0.33WO3) may be applied for manufacturing thermal insulation coating so that it can be applied as thermal insulation film in window glass of building and vehicle. And therefore, it saves the bills on air conditioner and improves your comfort.
The (nano cesium tungsten oxide) thermal insulation coating may be prepared with polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) polyvinyl butyral (PVB) and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as film former, respectively. And the influence of ball-milling and dispersant on the dispersion stability of cesium tungsten oxide nanopowder particles and its near infrared shielding performance were investigated, to obtain good dispersion of cesium tungsten oxide particles and improve their near-infrared (NIR) shielding efficiency. The results showed that ball-milling and polyethyleneglycol-400 could decrease the particles size of cesium tungsten oxide and improve its dispersion stability. The coating of PVA/Cs0.33WO3 and PVP/Cs0.33WO3 showed the best visible light transmittance and NIR shielding properties, while PVP/Cs0.33WO3 coating showed excellent adhesion.
