Cesium tungsten bronze can be used for heat insulation coating.
Preparation of Nano Cesium Tungsten Bronze Slurry and Transparent Heat Insulation Coating
Add cesium tungsten bronze nanopowder, deionized water, dispersant, sodium hydroxide (or nitric acid) into the stirred tank. Stir uniformly. Then, pump into a sand mill for grinding until the grain size of the slurry is not substantially reduced. After grinding, nano cesium tungsten bronze slurry is obtained.
Add the nano cesium tungsten bronze slurry into the acrylic emulsion. And coat it on the glass substrate. Then, dry to obtain cesium tungsten bronze transparent heat insulation coating. The thickness of the obtained dry film is about 5μm. The performance of the transparent heat-insulating film is tested to found that the transmittance at 950nm, representing the infrared blocking rate of the film, is 9.2%. In other words, the near-infrared blocking rate of this band is 90.8%. And the transmittance of visible light at 550nm, representing the transparency of the film, is 71%. It means that the cesium tungsten bronze heat insulation coating has better heat insulation performance with transparency effect.
