The researchers are aimed at studying WO3 epitaxial thin films on the aspects as following as:
1. Use laser molecular beam epitaxy to prepare WO3 epitaxial thin films with specific crystal phases and crystal planes on LaAlO3, SrTiO3, Al2O3 single crystal substrates with different orientations, combining structural characterization, physical property measurement, first-principles calculation and gas sensing performance test to study the influence of parameters such as crystal phase, exposed crystal face and film thickness on gas sensing performance;
2. Modify NiO, SnO2, Pd and other materials on the surface of WO3 epitaxial film, and explore the regulation effect of p-n, n-n and metal-oxide heterojunction on gas sensing performance;
3. Carry out long-term stability testing of gas-sensitive performance, use structural characterization methods to reveal the correlation between the microstructure change of the film and the stability of the sensor, and explore ways to improve the stability.
