1. APT is slightly soluble in water, and its solubility in water is less than 2% at 20 °C.
2. APT is insoluble in alcohol.
3. Heating APT to 220-280 °C, it loses part of the ammonia and crystal water, to be converted into ammonium metatungstate (AMT) - a water-soluble white or slightly yellow crystal powder.
4. Heating APT to above 600 °C, it loses all ammonia and crystal water, and is completely transformed into tungsten trioxide (WO3) - a light yellow or light green powder that is insoluble in water.
