Nano yellow tungsten oxide is a kind of near-infrared shielding material that may be applied in a variety of heat-insulating glasses of buildings or vehicles, as follows:
1. Applied for energy conservation transformation of building glass to reduce energy consumption.
2. Used indoors to block or shield ultraviolet rays entering from window glass.
3. Used for heat insulation and UV protection of glass in vehicles such as automobiles, trains, airplanes, and ships to improve comfort and energy efficiency.
4. For architectural glass, solar glass, glass curtain wall, high-level hotels, hotels, office buildings, private houses and exhibition halls to improve comfort and energy efficiency.
This type of near-infrared shielding material is mainly applied to window glass in the form of film. The WO3 thin films may be prepared by electrodeposition. Their photochromic properties were studied. And XPS was used to analyze the valence changes of W elements at different stages of discoloration. The sol-gel method was used to prepare the WO3 film by adjusting the pH value of the solution. As the pH value of the solution increased, more tungstates were formed and the color of the film became darker.
