Nano tungsten trioxide has good absorption properties of ultraviolet light and near-infrared light and therefore can be applied for the preparation of thermal insulation dispersion. The photocatalytic activity of tungsten trioxide also reflects its light absorption properties. Therefore, it is conducive to understand the properties of tungsten trioxide by analyzing the characteristics of tungsten trioxide as a photocatalyst.
When tungsten trioxide is used as a photocatalyst, the grain size of the photocatalyst is an important factor affecting the photocatalytic activity under the condition that the morphology is similar to that of crystal form. In general, the powder with small crystal size has a higher catalytic activity. From the XRD and SEM images, it can be seen that the tungsten trioxide nanowires with the additive Na2SO4 concentration of 0.125M have the smallest grain size, the largest specific surface area and the strongest photocatalytic activity. From the DRS image, it can be seen that the WO3 product with the additive Na2SO4 concentration of 0.125M has the best light absorption performance and the strongest photocatalytic activity.
